Astronomy and celestial phenomena lovers cannot miss a visit to the fascinating planetarium in Florence.

The planetarium, situated in the city center, is located inside of a large dome, which can accommodate about 50 seated people.

The planetarium in Florence organizes visits for adults and children as well as special lessons for school students. Reservations are required for all visits to the planetarium.

Visiting the Planetarium

The visits and thematic events organized at the planetarium are led by experienced astronomers of the Astrophysical Observatory of Arcetri in Florence.

During your visit, you will be able to gaze at a reproduction of the movement of the celestial bodies, observe the position of the stars at different latitudes and many other interesting facts about our solar system.
It will be a unique opportunity to experience directly and learn firsthand what we can usually only read in books or see in the best documentaries on TV.
