Firenze Rocks is back!

Music is once at the center of this Florentine Summer!

After 2 years of canceled events due to the pandemic, the musical festival “Firenze Rocks” is back this summer. As one of the top concerts in Europe organized by Live Nation in collaboration with Le Nozze di Figaro, the festival returns in grand style with 4 magnificent days between June 16 and 19, 2022 at the iconic Visarno Arena within the Cascine Park, with some of the greats that made the history of rock and beyond.

Tickets still avaialble for Friday and Sunday!

Green Day, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Metallica: these are some of the central guests of the 4th edition of this musical event which draws thousands of fans of all ages, in addition to the many other artists that will take part every day on the gigantic stage of the arena to entertain the public from the late afternoon.

Green Day will be on stage on June 16 at 9.50pm. The pop funk group from Berkeley, with over 70 million copies sold and 10 billion streams, has been able to garner a large general following, making punk rock mainstream and leading to a long career marked with success and worldwide hits.

Before the “American Idiot” band takes stage, the headliner for the day starting at 5.50pm will be 3 well-known and appreciated artists: the power pop trio from Milan Radio Days, the musician and rapper from Florence, Matteo Crea and, right before Green Day, the Weezer, the multi-platinum Grammy Award winning band.

On June 17 it is MUSE’s turn: starting at 9.30pm, the great rock-progressive contemporary band will put on a new revolutionary, highly technological performance, to gift the public in their style a unique experience with a mix of sound, light, special effects and video.

The arena comes alive starting at 4.45pm, with the explosive indie-pop group from Bristol, The Ramona Flower. They will be followed by the alternative rock back The Mysterines after a sold-out tour in the UK and at 8pm fans get to experience Placebo, the duo that has managed to revolutionize the history of rock and electronic music, creating hit songs with millions of copies sold.

On Saturday, June 18 the Red Hot Chili Peppers start off their 2022 tour in Europe, with the return of guitarist John Frusciante to the band. They will surely play all their greatest hits, together with their latest songs of their brand new album.

To introduce the group, starting at 4.45pm the stage will belong first to Savana Funk, then to the young singer from California Remi Wolf,  the Italian rapper and songwriter Tedua, and from 8pm, the great rapper, producer (as well as actor and activist) NAS.

The last day of the rock festival will close on June 19 with Metallica at 9.30pm. The American band led by James Hetfield, at the top of the international music scene and with over 100 million albums sold, is held to be one of the most successful bands in the history of heavy metal.

From 5pm the stage will belong to the Italian group The Blind Monkeys who offer a large repertoire of songs that take us back to the British rock music from the 70s, before passing on to the American singer, guitarist and songwriter Jerry Fulton Cantrell Jr., founder and leader of the grunge and alternative metal Alice in Chains. Last, but not least, the American rock group Greta Van Fleet, winners of Best Rock Album Grammy in 2019.
